I have a theory. Everyone enjoys flowers, but not everyone enjoys tending to them. Count me amongst the latter. So, I photograph flowers instead.

Possibly a surprise to some, Toronto is home to many prolific and terrific gardeners. A walk through almost any residential clave can be rewarded with sights and scents of a wide range of flora. This is complemented by the efforts of the municipal gardening crew who, year after year, unfailingly gift Torontonians and tourists alike with a rotation of tulips, lilies, sunflowers and roses, etc.
